March

March -Eric Carle/Insects/Bugs
Gloria painted a dragon fly.

Raquel is using the dragon fly sponge.

We used moon sand with insects. The moon sand made the insects look like they were actually moving!

Mia is giving the insects an up close look in the magnifying glass.

Daisy is reading the very hungry caterpillar.

Tionne enjoys The Very Hungry Caterpillar too!

February

February
A great activity to enhance fine motor development.

Also a great cognitive development activity. The students are learning the letters in their name.

Mia and her friends are using play-doh to take the shape of the letters in their name.

January

January-Nursery Rhymes
What happened to Humpty Dumpty?

Humpty Dumpty Race!

Don't drop it!

Who's going to win?

Carefully hold the egg on the spoon!

Mia had her own way of keeping the egg on her spoon.

Jhordi is waiting for Tyler to pass it to him!

November

November
Ricky made rockets from a book he read in the block center.

Jhordi was enjoying the dramatic play center.

Alexis made a city.

Tyler and Ramail worked together on making a city.

Ricky read about rockets and then decided to make one in the block center.

Tionne is painting with corn.

The corn produced a very interesting texture on paper.

Gloria is ready to go to the party!

Jovanny also read about rockets and decided to build a rocket in block center.

Alexis built a city and labeled it with his name.

Melody is able to write her name to show ownership of her work.

Good fine motor activity. I used skewers on the ends of the corn cobs.
