Zoo Animals

January

We read about our favorite zoo animals this month. We pretended to be animals in the zoo and put a floor puzzle together.

Pumpkins

October

We read about pumpkins in the book Pumpkin Pumpkin. We carved a pumpkin and saved the seeds to watch them grow in our classroom window.

Playdough Names

March

We molded play dough to take the shape of each letter in our names. We discussed the name and sound of the letters in our names.

Apples

Painting with Apples

We cut the apples crosswise so that we would be able to see the stars in the middle of the apples.

Gloria painted a dragon fly.

Raquel is using the dragon fly sponge.

We used moon sand with insects. The moon sand made the insects look like they were actually moving!

Mia is giving the insects an up close look in the magnifying glass.

  

Daisy is reading the very hungry caterpillar.
